JESSICA COX - INSPIRING STORY

This reminds me of this thread that came up a few weeks back.
Well, of course he can smile. He's had state-of-the-art prozzy legs growing up. Considering the state of prosthetics, in 10-15 years time the lad will be able to run faster than any of us if he wants. He'll talk about his legs the same way petrolheads talk about cars.

At least, he will with people who think beyond the "oh, you have no legs, you poor poor thing you, awwww" mentality.
Besides, that kid will always be able to choose his own height.

Most people in this kind of situation roll their eyes at this kind of stuff. Or ham it up. Ham-it-up folks are jackasses.

    Amputee t-shirts

    Jessica's website

Fair play to her says I, but, from someone who's got over the whole "OMG that person haz wun arm/no arms/ cerebral palsy/*insert obvious medical condition*, that presentation was cringeworthy.

Amazing woman. How does she manage the rudder if her feet are busy with the control wheel I wonder. Coordinated turns would be hard and how would you counter yaw due to torque etc....maybe the ailerons and rudder are linked somehow.

It's a Monocoupe, the ailerons and rudder are linked.

there doesn't look to be any modifications done in the video maybe she uses her other foot to work the rudder after setting her throttle. only a guess cus there is no obvious mods made. even the ptt is in the usual place you could think that could have been changed to suit her better
