    I'm re-building a 1980's Peugeot PH18 for my GF to commute on.

I need a set of wheels for it. Rear spacing is 120mm. Will consider anything from single speed to 6-7 speed. Original wheels are 27" 6sp but brakes look like they will fit 700c so either will do.

    Anyone got anything suitable?

Also need tires, chain, rear derailleur and shifter...

You sure you want 120mm? im surprised it isn't 126mm from that era

If you do, then i have a set of old 700c mavic rims laced to a set of large flange cartridge bearing track hubs. The rear is 120mm and has a thread either side for fixed cog or single freewheel. They could do with a true up and the rims have seen better days but the hubs are in perfect nick and very shiny.

I think you are right, I measured the dropouts without the back wheel and they were 122mm, so I assumed it was a 120mm, but the wheel probably springs them to 126mm.

I'm may be interested in the wheels anyway - they should fit. How much are you looking for them?

    I have a new 27" front wheel,
Rigida AL-1320 double wall eyeleted rim laced to a Pelissier low flange hub, both rim and hub manufactured in france

It has never been used but since it was built a few decades ago I had overhaul the hub, replaced the old grease with dura-ace grease so it's now better than new!

As per the rules, no deals via PM - they must be done in-thread, then you can finalise arrangements by PM
