    Yeah superb venue, Paul Mount the man behind it is a lifelong snooker fan and is heavily involved in several cancer charities in which he's enlisted the help of the top players.
    Along with the Sports Institute Academy in Sheffield which has held three PTC events the South West Academy has now been selected to host the next round of The Players Tour Championship next weekend.
    There is a superb venue in Carlow, The Ivy Rooms is a state of the art facility which has the proper Star pro tables in superb surroundings, it's a credit to the owner Jim Lacey and it would be fitting if they got the nod to hold a EPTC event next season.

    Agree 100% with zack01.

    The Ivy Rooms are fantastic. I play out of the Spawell but any chance I get I sneak down to practice here. Would love to get my standard up a bit to play in some of the comps (fingers X for next season!). Anyone that hasn't been to the club should defo make the trip!
