I once ate a 48 ounce steak, fries, veg, washed it down with a few beers, and licked the plate after.

So do you wax your vagina, or what?

Not a burger, but I had two 4 course meals back to back. Two mates of mine invited me along to their post Uni graduation family meals. The first sitting was at 19.00 and the second was at 20.15. So eight courses in total, ah they were the days.

Agreed! If you like hamburgers give 'em a try sometime. Me, I can't usually eat 'em 'cause my girlfriend's a vegetarian. Which more or less makes me a vegetarian, but I sure love the taste of a good burger.

    8 x 8 in In n' Out, Modesto, Ca.

In n' Out's are amazing fast food and definitely places to visit when on the West Coast. I imagine it only has the same meat content as a 2lb burger but because it is so spaced out it is more difficult. I can polish away a 1lb burger on its own handily enough.

I've had something before known as a 'Murder Burger'.

Two quarter pounders, two rashers, four sausages, one black and white pudding, 2 slices of cheddar cheese and an egg.

    Just about manageable!

I'm heading to California next week, the one thing I'm most looking forward to is an "In n' Out" Double Double animal style for lunch as soon as I get there (hamburgers, just to clarify in case anyone thinks it sounds like an Orgy)

Best burger joint in the States

I went to a Fatburger in suburban Denver* back in 2007, and IIRC I had one of their Kingburgers. 8 oz pre-cooked, but it wasn't as insane as it sounds, since it had lots of gherkins, tomato, and lettuce too, and the fries were light. Very nice. On their menu it's merely "L" - they also do XXL (16 oz) and XXXL (24 oz) burgers!

I sometimes make my own burgers, and I tend to load them up with other stuff too. One day last month I had two quarter pounders for dinner, each on a huge bun and loaded with another quarter pound of fried onions and mushrooms, swiss cheese, French mustard, and half a head of Iceberg lettuce. Definitely a job for two hands.

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.
