Poll: What is your belief system if any ?

There has been a few religion and atheism themed threads here recently. I am curious as to what the religious make up of the regular After Hours posters is.

Maybe people could vote and then state what their belief system is (if any) and say how they came to be of that belief/disbelief. Maybe it was the religion you were born into or maybe you converted or deconverted?

This is not intended to be a religion vs atheism vs anthing else debate, just a simple survey to see what the religious demography of After Hours is.

I've included as many of the major world religions as I can think of and an "other" option.

Personally I am an atheist. I was, like most people born into a nominally Catholic family. I did mass, communion and confirmation and all that. In my early twenties I began to question my religious beliefs in a serious way. It started with simply questioning the church as an institution. This was mainly due to my study of history in university. This then led me to question the actual validity of the Catholic Religion. I viewed myself as more of a general non denominational Christian for a few years. I briefly flirted with Buddhism and read loads of books on the subject and still believe that medititation is a very useful and beneficial practice albeit in a non spiritual sense. I went through a long period of agnosticism where I simple felt "I didn't know whether God existed or not". I then eventually over time and after much thought and reading came to disbelieve in the existance of deities of any kind by about the age of 25. I am now 31. I have a slight leaning towards humanist philosophy.

I am what you'd call a 'pagan' although I dislike that term, it being part of a smear campaign from the Christian church. Paganus means 'peasant' so I much prefer Hellene.
