Changing tyres makes me very angry. It never goes smoothly. Usually invovles stuff been thrown across the room too. :pac:

Put your tyres in the tumble drier for 2 mins and they will go on very easy.
I learned the hard way :D

Being able to change a tube really is as important and easy as riding the bike.
Watch these two clips and you'll be fine... trust me this will come in handy some rainy evening when you get a flat:D
just a quick note, the tyre can be difficult to get back on so I do use the tyre leaver sometimes, if you are careful not to catch the tube it will be fine,
    Best of luck!

Or just boil the kettle and pour the hot water on them, easy peasy then.

Yes, my wife insists I'm well out of the kids' earshot whenever I change a tyre. Then again, I've gotten enough practice by now to be able to swear silently ...

Tyres and tubes for me. I'm brutal at both, changing tubes sees tyre levers get thrown accross the room...and three dogs subsequently scampering in different directions!

Practice, Practice, Practice. Im a pen pusher, not much of a handy man and hated it at first, but as i had shocking tyres for first year on my bike i got plenty of practice. Now its no big deal and only takes a min or two.

Im shocking with bike maintenance. Tubes, tyres, punctures. If i could carry a midget in my helmet or seat holder, i would. That might be an idea from the guys who brought out the powerband. Why not give us something like a bike fixing midget?

I changed the tyres on my bike a week or two ago. It was a nightmare, pretty sure my rims are larger than the tyres I was trying to put on!!!

Funnily enough, it took me two minutes to replace a worn out chain and nearly two hours to change two tyres!:o
