    hello, new here,

me and my girlfriend are at the moment drawing up plans for a new build,
    approx 1800-2000 sqft,

we cant decide on a build technique other than we'd like it to be as airtight and ecofriendly as possible, and cheap to run basically,
we'd also like a main oak frame/beams to the house with the build running around this,

ive looked at so many build types last few weeks my heads in a muddle,
have quite a big list though,

    porotherm blocks with diffutherm insulation,
    kingspan tek build type,
215 hollow block with kingspan external board, or internal dry lining board,
    timber frame,
    typical cavity construction,

all great in there own ways, but any advice basically on which way to go,
or ways in which people here have built there houses and results,
we havent decided heating techniques either, under floor, wood pellet, hrv etc
any advice would be great, thanks
