Taking apart the M89

    Anyone know how to dismantle the double eagle M89 by any chance.
    I never had an airsoft gun before and it turns out me brother has has this gun for ages but its not firing so he dropped it upto me to have a look at.
    I can stick up a video if ya want so ye can tell me if it sounds right or wrong. I did find a mashed up bb in it also. He said it happened before and started working again so hopefully its nothing major. I know its a pretty bargain gun so thats probably it I suppose. Thanks

    Word on the street is that the M89 is a clone of G&G's UMG,,im not entirely sure if its 100% true as I remember enquiring about the upper receiver compatibility of the DE to G&G only to be told that the M89 receiver would not fit the G&G.

    However they are supposed to very similar in takedown so hopefully the link below may be of some help to you.

    Yeah its a clone alright. thanks for the link. Take down, now that makes sense, no wonder taking apart a gun didnt show up haha. thanks again :)

    woo that took it apart anyways. everything seems to be fine so I dunno what the stroy is. only thing now is that little white plactic part that leads upto the barrel seems to be blocking the bb's from being loaded grrrrr. Think Ill just give it back to the brother and tell him to pistol whip people instead.
