Just wondering if there are psychology students who would be willing to give me a hand with my 1st year psych for about an hour a week??

I will provide tea and possibly biscuits.
    Thanks. :)

Ah yeah, similar essay to the one we did last year, I'd say. Feel free to PM me with particular questions :)

Hey, I've just graduated from NUIG, psychological studies was one of my subjects. Is the essay you're doing about schemas, love and aggression? If you pm me I can help you if you want. Best of luck! :-)

Probably a bit too late to comment on this thread seeing as the deadline for the essay was the 4th November. I'm doing the same course at the minute and i'm not finding it too difficult. Any questions, PM me also :)

Since psych is mostly BS and waffle it shouldn't be too hard to formulate some sort of essay using google, wikipedia and a few pages of filler! :P

Thanks everyone for offering help..Ended up paying for a few grinds that kinda helped..Got it done but still have no result..Not that it matters..I think I failed my philosophy exam but sure whats done is done..

And i presume you haven't done psych if you think that it's BS.

    But sure isn't ignorance bliss.

Take it from 2nd Year Psych student (regrettably), and I can assure you its utter BS, unproven and unfounded theories based on nothing other than what is assumed about human behavior.

There is more factual information in a Harry Potter novel than 2000 pages of my Psychology books.

Your man is probably ignorant... but not necessarily wrong.

Anyhoo if you're still looking for help I'll lend you my notes and essays from 1st Arts (I have a 1:1 going in Psych despite my obvious lack of passion for the subject :P)

And apparently once someone has reached 2nd year they have a full knowledge of all things psychology.

The distressing thing here is I agree that there is a lot of crap in psychology but it is a broad area and for you to claim biological psychology, neurological psychology and even areas such as the VERY proven classical conditioning which is basic psychology (have a watch of Super Nanny if you are unfamiliar with it) is all based on assumptions I'd go out on a limb and suggest you might be a spoofer yourself.

Hi, just wondering if you know of anybody giving psychology grinds? I'm actually in Galway but the help I would need would actually be more online support. Kinda like having a thesis supervisor! I'm doing a Masters in Psychology and am a bit rusty when it comes to the whole essay writing process. I have a 2:1 at undergraduate level but submitted a few essays before Xmas & only got 2:2's. Which I'm not too happy about... Now I'm looking for online support and feedback with any future essays I'll be writing!
