    Howdy, first time posting here.

Ive been on a very low carbs & very low sugar/weight watchers diet for the last 2 weeks.

Im quite overweight. Recently noticed in the last few days im peeing a lot. And i mean a lot. Im presuming the fact that im peeing so much is linked with the diet? Its quite annoying. Is it normal? The urine itself seems quite clear - sorry for getting into a bit too much detail.

    Thanks.

Your body releases a lot of water weight when you cut carbs.

After a few days it'll stop and you'll just pee what you drink.
I lost 6 pounds in my first week since I've started eating healthy again, all water, though not much has changed as I drink about three or four litres a day anyway :P

Just go with it.. as Funkz says, it's the reduction in carbs- bread/pasta etc tends to retain a lot of water..

it's a good thing, embrace it! You'll start to feel a lot less bloated, you probably are already.. also, try and hold it a little longer, rather than giving in all the time.. it might help a little. The FFP / breaking the seal theory, etc.. THis is unscientific of course, but definitely is true in my experience.

I have a bladder like an oil tanker from this! I can drink shocking amounts of beer before having to go.

You can do Kegel exercises which train your "peeing muscle" you can do them any time, sitting around etc. To get a feel the muscle by just try stopping and starting peeing a few times when you are midflow.

More women would have heard of kegels than men, I remember a mate of mine was amazed when I said I could stop peeing at will!

    They also have other benefits....;)

Howdy funkz yeah 6 pounds is a great achievement. Weighed myself today, ive lost 5.5lbs myself since last tuesday. Well happy.:)

Can't believe the difference stopping eating bread/pasta/rice/potatoes has made. Haven't had a slice of bread in 2 weeks & trust me im a sandwichaholic so i did miss it for the first few days but not so much now. Think my body is in shock. Hence the excessive peeing.

Looks like my weight loss this week is mostly water so the real work is all ahead of me. Ah well, ive had a slobs diet for too long so its been long overdue.
