Blue lines on Monitor

These 2 blue lines pretty much never leave my monitor. It used to be just one. And that one used to just appear some of the time. Sometimes a yellow one appears too.

I'm going into the monitor with a HD to VGA cable from my Xbox and with a VGA-VGA cable from my laptop. This stuff first appeared during Xbox use.

Anyone know what gives and how I can fix it?

    Thanks a lot.

    its in your monitor.
The conductive plastic connections from the electronics to the LCD glass are coming away from the glass. not repairable, live with it. :(
usually only happens to laptops due to movement tho

I got this monitor as a refurb from laptopsdirect only a couple of months ago. Feel cheated, I'll double check though that I don't have some kind of warranty. I seem to remember or wouldn't be surprised if there was some kind of "sold as is" disclaimer. Fυck.
