2000 SAAB 93 - How much to expect!

I have a '00 Saab 93 with less than 100K on it, with Full Service History. I've recently bought a new car and don't need it anymore but I'm not sure if there's any point selling the SAAB at this stage. It's in very good nick mechanically but years of using it as a kidsmobile have taken its toll and there's a few knocks and scrapes on it! Does anyone here know the market for these things, and do you think how much should I price it at if I decide to sell it? It's a 2.0l LPT with 97K on it and Full Service History.

    Any advice appreciated!

Sadly I wouldn't expect much interest in it, especially if it has a few knocks. I sold a 99 one, same model, two years ago, immaculate with full history, only 65k miles on it. Had very little interest, eventually sold for 2k. You might be lucky, but I was waiting a while for mine to sell. I'd keep it and run it till it dies.

...I can't say exactly, but I know someone who bought one a few month's ago for €1600..........

    What's LPT?

    I'm currently after a 98-2000 Saab 9-3, but I'm after a diesel one.

Theres a 00 2.0 lpt 93 hangin around an estate near me for at least 4 months.
Down to around 1200 at this stage, but NCT is up and it is over the magical 100k miles

...the diesel of that era is the GM 2.2 unit, and isn't the greatest. The newer ones are the 1.9MJet engine, which is infinately better.

Is there an NCT on her?

YEP NCT till 01/2012, taxed till december, perfect runner, full history (with genuine parts always used), new suspension, etc. Just needs a little cosmetic enhancement.

Had two cars, used another car on an scrappage deal as I just could not kill this beauty, it's far too nice to be scrapped.

+1 I highly advise against that 2.2 diesel: it's not very efficient, it's VERY noisy, it's VERY high tax (as it's over 2 litre), and check the internet, it's riddled with problems.

The T5 petrol engine (98-00) seems to be the best of the of the lot, as the late (T7) model (01-03) models are prone to sludge.
