ok 1700 max to spend???

    hi guys im looking for new motor, ruled out a 1.4 golf 1999 for 1700 as i was warned there dirt.
    so i might have to move up to bigger cars i.e 97-00 accord? focus? volvos40 1.6?

    any advice guys?:)

    How about early model Avensis. Should geneally be a pretty safe bet. On the face of it I think I'd be inclined to strike the Volvo off the list. I'm just thinking considerable repair bills if something goes wrong. In fact on a budget such as yours I'd be inclined to remain pretty open minded not ruling any particular model out...paying particular attention to NCT, mileage, service history, tyres, tax and place more weight on general condition as oppossed to year or model.

    i found the 3dr acceptable but i dont like the seats in them.

    would the OP go for a saa/volvo ??

    their armchairs... and thats what matters imho...

    if you cant buy new... Buy comfy !
