    Hi.

I recently discovered that white bread can make you constipated so I changed to brown bread and wholemeal bread. Does the same apply here with brown and wholemeal bread??? Because I'm still constipated....

It really depends on how your body deals with the wheat thats in bread. I mean, wholemeal bread is definitely a better option than white bread but it may still not suit you. Would you mind listing a few days of your diet cos there could be lots of things you are unaware of that cause the constipation

    Sure:

Breakfast: Mon-Fri - Bran Flakes, 1 slice of toast, cup of tea/coffee.
Weekends - Scrambled egg and 2/3 slices of toast or same as above.

11am snack: Orange, apple or banana.

Lunch: Mon-Fri - Cheese and ham sandwich on brown or wholemeal bread, yoghurt or muller rice.
Weekends: This can vary but usually soup and 2 slices of bread.

3pm snack: Orange, apple or banana. The odd time a snack bar maybe.

Dinner: Pasta at least 2 days a week, rice and chicken 2 days a week, chips with burgers etc maybe 2 days a week, Sunday is always a typical Sunday dinner with beef or chicken.

Tea: Maybe a slice of toast or a yoghurt or a few biscuits around 9 or 10pm.

Also, throw in the odd chocolate bar every few days there :)

    Cheers.
