AI in Clare

    hi lads/ladies,
    anyone on here that AI in clare, asking as i have a few cows that i want to inseminate to a BB, like the look of ELZ & BYU with progressive genetics. my father used to go with bova. anyone have the number of a technician who works for progressive genetics? prob should just call up PG, but if you know please let me know.

    I could give you a number for the tecnicians in NCBC. I think they cover all of Clare. They do the east and mid Clare areas. I'm sure of that.

    use a dovea chap that does alot around N Clare, not sure where you are but can pass on his number if you want

    I was talking to guy in millstreet last saturday and he says the writeup by darragh mccullough was a stitch up!!! They still expect a 55-45 split when calving down. Not sure what to believe anymore but they are gearing up for huge demand next spring

    was this a pg/ncbc guy ? cant see that being allowed to be printed after the oliver fiasco tbh....

    is it worth the 6 euro more if the percentage is only a fraction better than normal ai, also the fact that the semen has been screened has to reduce the fertility in my mind

    I've always used Dovea genetics.they have all the top bulls in stock and if not they'll order them in for you.
    The AI man in the north and west Clare area is called John Shannon 0868790612.
