The current ET101 rules state that in all zones of a bathroom every circuit shall be protected by 'a dedicated RCD'.

What is the meaning of 'dedicated' in this context?

Can the bathroom light circuit be on the same RCD as the sockets?

Or must a seperate RCD be used for the bathroom? If so can more than one bathroom be on the same RCD?

By dedicated, I would provide a specific rcd for bathroom circuits. I would not use socket rcd. In practice a 10 amp rcbo is more practical. You can use this to protect all bathrooms and ensuites once they are on the same level.

yes-don't double up bathroom lights with sockets as it creates a potentisal hazard
