Society Question?

    I hate to out myself on the college forum, but check my previous posts and it's no secret. Some might even know me too see. I've chatted to the students union, without much word as to whats happening, I'll check back again for contact information.

    The question is, does anyone know whats happening with the LGBT society. I heard of one meeting, but couldn't make it due to other commitments. Feel free to pm me if chatting about it in forum is a bit of an issue. If anyone is stressed over such issues, I'm also a good listener and spent many years as a class rep so I know how to help and know the score.

    I only ask here because I haven't got as much time as I'd hoped for to go on an info treasure hunt.

    will the SU not give you the contact details for the person running the society?

    John Madden should be able to give you the relevant contact information seeing as that's what he's supposed to do. Any society has to give a phone number or at least email for the chairperson, or at least the secretary, on the signup sheet on Clubs and Socs day. That sheet (or a copy) has to be handed in to the Union afterwards, and in particular if the soc is applying for funds, so he should have SOMETHING
     helpful.

    It is weird that the LGBT soc hasn't been very active this year though.....
