That's a shock but nice to see Clarinbridge in the Final.

    Small changing of the guard.

Well done to Portumna over past few years though. Wonderful champions.

Something like 35 championship matches with just two losses (the town today and b'hale last yr) and a draw.

Maybe a few players can be recruited to the county so if deserved, can't say I follow Galway club football. But new blood can't be a bad thing judging by this year's performances.

I think Oulart from Wexford, managed by Liam Dunne have a huge shot at an All Ireland now.

I think its between Munster Champs and whoever wins in Kilkenny. It is wide open. Don't thin Oulart are all that aswell to be hones. They only scored 4 points in the first half against a St Martins side that only scored one. Don't think they'll be up to to the scoring threat of De La Salle, Thurles Sarsfields, Ballygunner and any other team with good forwards.

I think Portumna going out provides Galway with no excuses, and Joe Canning in particular for next year. He know has time to sort himself out, be it injury or whatever is wrong with him. If he develops pace he will become the player many think he already is.

    Not a hope.

Anyway this is the best thing that could ever have happened for Galway as it means JC might get a bit of a break and sort out that injury. Portumna have been almost constantly on the go for the past 4 years so they had to get beaten eventually. Loughrea don't have enough class to go on and win the All-Ireland though,
