Backed him but this is the real deal.2M 5F on the softest track in the UK.As you know he was withdrawn out of the stiffest track in the UK Carlisle,WATCH THIS HORSE.Didnt have a big bet on him. Will post another 2yr old shortly unnamed but by Lord Nelson. He has beaten a listed winner three times in a row in a full workout.Listed winner has an entry in the 2,000 guineas.

Yes he hated the ground yesterday and got a fright when that fell beside him.I found it strange bringing him to Ffos Llas.Watched the rugby with a few friends polished off rest of the gargle and missed Tombi at Wolves 20/1.Cleaning up the house war office is back at five.Found at winning ticket stuck in the couch a month old.Ready for Utd now.

Going through some of the races at Cheltenham the race I have taken two out of is the Triumph.Davy Condon on mullins horse was miles back and ran on but the one horse I will back at Aintree in 4yr old hurdle is Dodging Bullets. He did not stay the extra furlong up the hill and will be a different horse at Aintree.

Is there any worse feeling in not looking at your horse tracker and then realise you missed an 11/1(My Murphy@Navan yesterday) winner  The one day i don't look up my e-mails! Typical

I still remember missing a horse at Leopardstown who won at 20/1 and in my tracker i had the note "back next time at Leopardstown". I was in Manchester for the weekend in October 2010 when this happened. Raging! The horse is a Leopardstown specialist and was well handicapped. I'll try find the name now.

Anyone know what the deal is with satellite yards? I know rock on ruby wasn't trained in ditcheat but do we know the reasoning behind it?
It's a bit deceiving when the registered trainer isn't the trainer..reason I ask is one thing I look at specifically with low grade races is has a trainer travelled a good but to get to the course for 1 horse..

Prime example of one horse travelling a good bit for one race...spirit of adjisa in punches town last year (even though that wasn't a low grade race)

I think the problem is we are let down by the big gap after Cheltenham and there's nothing really going on except flat business until fairyhouse and aintree...the Brits should step up to the mark an close that gap!! Completely agree, the only thing it does for me is increase the build up for punch and aintree

Start of the flat in England and two I like for today.Mont Ras in the first goes well fresh and a big open track should suit his style of running.Bannock in the second is very well in with his weight for age allowance. He ran very well last time out from a bad draw and is race fit.

Lads something that's annoying me. Who is the Irish jockey who retired the other week citing lack of opportunities for group wins as his reason? I know it and it's driving me mad, not Pat Shanahan

Willie Supple retired recently but he is a flat jockey.

That's it, I knew it was a flat jockey, he hadn't ridden a winner since November I think

The 17.45 Thurles is a very strange race in that a horse I like Dog Barrel Hill has to give Berties Dream 5lb[allowance not included] yet is rated 36lb inferior. Why woul a trainer enter his horse under these conditions. If you win and beat Berties Dream or Dancing Tornado you will be murdered or finish within a country mile of either will get hit. There are loads of races for the likes of Dog Barrel Hill to run in and yet this race was picked. There is no way I can back him and yet his is ready to win a small race.

I see your point. My take on it is that they're simply going for a day out. Using the race as a schooling session.

Berties Dream is expected to win today.
