finished my first season of tri and want to get better on the bike for next year. i did 3 sprints, an oly and the bike leg of a 1/2 im but on pretty minimal training. i'm hopefully just going to do 1/2 im and oly distance next year.

should i forget about fast biking for the winter and build up endurance. also should i stay away from the big ring and just spin more in the small ring for a few months to get more leg turnover.

    thanks
    P

Long and handy should probably be the focus for the next couple of months alright AFAIK. I'm far from an expert but thats my winter plan. I plan to do lots of handy(not easy) miles with one tempo/interval session a week. The winter is about building endurance.
