Seems Jim Higgins MEP has learned nothing from Rody Molloy's infamous radio interview. In answer to queries from the Indo as to the necessity of him and other MEPs staying in a five star hotel in Madeira while on a "study trip" he replied:

"I haven't a clue what star it is. All I know is that it's a very good hotel, the accommodation is wonderful, the food is lovely. For people who work so hard, we're entitled to that. You don't expect us to stay in B&Bs, do you?"

Actually, Jim, why not stay in a B&B? It's good enough for us plebs. Or are you saying we don't work as hard as you?
