Primary School Teaching Abroad - Advice

    Hello all,

Hope I'm in the right place. This is very general, but here it goes...

I will be qualified as a primary school teacher this time next year, and would love to broaden my horizons and teach abroad for a couple of years. If possible, I don't just want to end up teaching english, so that probably narrows my options a bit.

So basically, I am looking for suggestions based on peoples experience etc on where to go. Canada is something I have in my head, but it is supposed to be quite difficult to get primary teaching work there. Africa is another idea floating around my head.

Basically I'm just looking for a massive brainstorming session here! All suggestions are welcome!

    Thanks

    No primary jobs in Canada.

You need 3 years experience to teach in Australia, New Zealand (if you want to get residency based on your profession).

Africa would more than likely volunteer work I imagine.

Basically, you'll need to get experience here or in the UK, before you'll get work elsewhere.
