i know what date they're in this month, but last year there was a list of what dates each installment came in in december january etc etc...

Just to say, haven't received mine yet. Apparently there is big delays with only 10 of the 33 VEC's getting the grant out on time, so there might be a bit of a wait

im getting worried i was told id recieve mine on the 16th today and it still not in my bank acc! I so broke anyone else recieve vec rant from kk vec yet for 1st installment ??

Emailed kk vec, wondering when grants would be released. Was told I'd have to send on my Dob, full address, etc...why I don't know, I only wanted an estimation. Then received an email telling to contact grants office in my college as they'd be paying me??? WTF? Correct if I'm wrong but do the college not receive the money from the vec, so how would they know more than the vec. Also why did they bull**** me and waste my time sending a second email, if they didn't have a date yet then tell me. Fine, I can appreciate they may be busy but I'm not bloody stupid, I'm a mature student in my thirties! They are morons.

Eh apologies for that rant, all is forgiven. Just checked bank account and first installment went in last night...

My boyfriend is a mature student in WIT, waiting on his grant from KK VEC. Went in this morning to check his bank account (broke as broke can be) and nothing there.

Anyone have any info on this? He really really can't face waiting until the end of January (like he had to do last year) for the first installment of his grant.

i checked my acc this morning and the first installemnet was in 706 in total
The vec in kk also told me to contact the college as the money was coming from them and i contacted them and they said it would be the 16th! TODAY!!

My boyfriend will have to wait until november at least (and that's being optimistic) for his graant because WIT messed up on his application. He was told on monday that he never supplied them with a letter they supposedly need. This is the same letter that he brought into them on registration day and was told he didn't need. The same letter that nobody else in his year has had to supply the college with. WIT ARE A JOKE.
