What film podcasts do you listen to?

My favourite is FilmJunk. I've been listening to it for a few years now. It is has in-depth discussions and comedy value in equal measure.

I always found good movie podcasts very slim on the ground.

There's Mark Kermode and Simon Mayo's radio show / podcast which is always worth a listen: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00lvdrj

Cool Shite On The Tube can be fun but very juvenile, hyperactive, and full of nerdy Aussie humour which doesn't really work: http://www.coolshi*e.net/ (you can guess the missing letter as the swear filter got it!)

Joe Barlow's Cinemaslave podcast used to be good, but he doesn't do it very often anymore: http://www.cinemaslave.com/

As a big Kevin Smith fan, it annoys me that SModcast is so hit and miss: http://www.smodcast.com/

I used to listen to this but I started to disagree with Kermode's opinions more often than not.

I also used to listen to this one too but after the release of Zach & Miri it went a bit OTT with doing the whole thing stoned.

Ah, don't listen to a critic's podcast expecting to agree with him. I do appreciate Kermode but I do think some of his film reviews are ridiculous, but I do always enjoy his knowledge and appreciation of cinema.

Yep.. I'm finding it as hit and miss as his latest directorial efforts. Ah well!

It's a shame as his "An Evening With's" are brillant, but the podcasts just don't work more often that not.

The KCRW Film Reviews by Joe Morgenstern are nice and short - just 1-2 minute reviews of a couple of films.

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.
