We ai a cow last june, she showed no sign of repeating so i was convinced she was in calf. We weaned the calf off her last week and within 2 days she was showing signs of heat. Just had her scanned and shes not in calf. Is there anything that can be given to help cows keep,ie minerals, doses, bullets etc. I wouldnt mind but shes my best cow.

You should probably get a blood test done on her to find out what she's deficient in. Copper, Selenium or Iodine are the common offenders as far as I know. At least then you'll be able to target the treatment and only give her what she needs.

It may also be an idea to check a few other random cows to see if it's an isolated case or whether your area is deficient in some minerals and you need to start treating all the herd to try and prevent this happeneing in future years.
