Sorry if this has been asked before or if I should look at a specific thread/site, but can anyone tell me how much the motor tax would be on a 2.5 litre petrol car, 2006 reg?

It depends on the actual cc if it is 2522cc like the Ford ST (Volvo engine) it's €1120

Two old sayings, (1) "If you have to ask, you can't afford it" (2) "If you couldn't afford to buy this car new, you can't afford to run it second hand"

    Rubbish

    EDIT:
Anyhow there is a big difference between couldn't and would't want to.

€1120 for a car just over 2.5l? Why didn't you go all the way and got yourself a really big engine? Only another €400 and a bit on top of that! :D

Serilusly, that's an excellent question, once you get up to those rates, you might as well go the whole way. 5l V8 anyone :D or better still go for the 8l V10 :p

You forgot (3) "if you can't say something constructive, please don't bother to post. No one wants to hear your condescending drivel".
