Anyone know if these offers are in store as well. Heading to london on Thursday and wouldn't mind picking up a few pairs of skate shoes.

i think so. saw an ad on UTV this evening about this, with other offers and saying that it was instore or online.

I had a very bad experience shopping with sports direct a few months back. They had some good offers & we placed an order for runners & tracksuits for the kids. 3 Days after I had placed the order they sent me an email to cancel nearly half my order as they were out of stock.

Took nearly a week to dispatch the goods & when they finally arrived 9 days in total the runners we bought were filthy dirty (advertised as new) & there were no bottoms with one of the tracksuits.

There is no contact number on the site & we didnt get a reply for 2 days from customer services. I ended up having to return my whole order.
    Absolute nightmare!

Just to balance the feedback about Sportsdirect, I've orderded heaps of stuff from them and never had a problem. Luckily for me I can get my stuff shipped to a UK address so the postage is a lot cheaper.

I've made about 4 big orders with them and like above I can use a UK address to save on postage. I have found some great bargains but its very easy to buy tonnes of crap from them too. They run some great daily deals where decent gear can be half nothing. The deal is usually for English branded stuff or tat though with every few weeks having something great.

Of what I have received, I received the wrong pair of runners once and they offered me free return postage with replacement/refund. Other than thats its been all good.

A lot of their stuff is marked as "ex-display" online too so this stuff could be a bit manky.

Just buy them on Amazon through Sports Direct for the same price. Never had any problems doing it that way.

Was going to order these online but since Heatons sportsworld had them for €21 I went in to try them on to make sure the fit was right.

Glad I did. I usually take a nike uk11 but ended up with a pair of these in uk9.5 so the fit is on the large side.

This is very common. I did however find them ok to deal with refunds such as allowing me to order some other items instead and refund the shipping albeit to Newry.

Forgot to mention that. On each order they have cancelled 1 or 2 items. A bit annoying.

I got stung with a pair of Airwalk trainers lately. Bought for £15 which was one of their daily deals and looked nice online (don't they always :D). Put them on for the first time at the weekend and am crippled today due to them. The sole is so thin its ridiculous and theres no heel. Completely flat! I thought I was safe enough buying Airwalk (oh the irony) and that they were full leather uppers. Still, on a whole, I would still shop with them. If SportsDirect in Ireland had the same deals as the UK, it would be great, but they don't so I have to keep buying from them online.

Thats the major problem with buying clothing of any type online. It can look great in a picture but when you get it, the quality and size can be a lot different to what you expected.

Sportsdirect have a store (huge) in Belfast (Boucher Road).

They have fantastic deals on every day. I picked up two pair of the head trainers the last time the deal was on and 6 months later they are still in excellent nick, very comfortable too.

Just to show how classy they are. I bought a pair of golf shoes a couple of months ago in their store in Belfast. I continued shopping elsewhere and when I got back to the car I decided to take a look at them and noticed one of them was the incorrect size.

I went back and called for the manager. Two minutes later he returned with the correct size and gave me the golf shoes and a full refund of £65.

    Excellent company with exceptional prices.
