For those Irish living abroad, what food do you really miss from Ireland? For me it is always Tayto cheese and onion

Agreed. Here's my most missed favourites in no particular order:

    Tayto Cheese & Onion
    Cadbury's chocolate
    Lyon's Tea
    Rashers (back or thick-cut streaky)
    Ginger Nut biscuits

That said - I'm living in Switzerland & they have such a wonderful variety of foods & cuisines here that I really am spoilt. My ample waistline reflects this. :o

You're in Switzerland and you miss Cadbury's "chocolate"? There's no hope for you, really :D

The local choccy is cracking, but can be very rich. * Looks for 'bloated' smiley *

It's pretty easy to get tayto here in australia.
THey have cadbury's here too, but its different (so it can survive the heat)

Timistry, I know the Guinness in Ireland is the best, but I see you live in Melbourne and PJ O'Briens on the South bank ain't bad.

    +1 on the Club Orange
