..............for under 50k euros that you could use everyday with out breaking the bank? For me it's an E39 M5, a friend of mine has one and left me drive it once, nothing i've ever driven since has even come close, he reckons it's not hugely expensive to run apart from the road tax.

MG ZT 260, I'd spend the remaining 30K or so (after stashing 3 years tax money aside) on strippers and cigars. Actually if I had 50K that I was willing to spend on a car I'd lease a small and sleazy lapdancing club in the UK and see how it goes (lifelong ambition), if it went t1ts up (:D) I'd come home dissapointed, penniless yet contented.

I'd really love an BMW 850CI in black.
Whatever's left over I'd just use for taxing, insuring and running it.:pac:

But then again that could change tbh.

True, minty ones can be got for £10K in the UK, VRT is a twat on them though, rwd V8 though would be nom nom nom :pac: If I had the benefit of hindsight 3 ot 4 years ago I'd either have the t1tty bar now or be back after my adventure :(

S.I.L.T.B always wanted an Elise, so he got one from UK. Dream achieved. Sold fairly shortly afterwards, cos somtimes, dream cars should remain just that, dreams. In reality they can be a beatch. When I was in my twenties, I wanted a Dino, so I got one. Dream achieved, well, not quite dream, but "quite fancied" anyway. Discovered elderly Ferraris don't like : Traffic. Changing gear. Going slow. You looking out of the back. Being left and not trying to make friends with every langer around, who will still be there interacting when you come back to drive it. Normal footwear. Normal footwear in a size 12. Being used much. Not being used enough. Etc.
Luckily, I was not alone in this dream and another chap with more money than sense came along and started living his dream. I bought a primera.Happy days.

Well my dreAm car was allways a skyline, any skyline. So i finnally got my dream car last year. R33 gtst 400hp.

They say dream car has to stay dream car, so you would not get dissapointed, but in my case it all went smooth. I love it, drive it everyday.

You could afford a 100,000 car in your 20's? The Ferrari Dino 246GT's have been £70,000 for as long as I've been checking them (quite a while!). Fab looking car, one of the best ever.

Anyway, my dream car for everyday use is the NSX. Still my favourite car that I've been in/driven.

I should have taken a picture for you, saw a yellow one, Bumble Bee, last night in Dundalk. Its HUGE!

If I had €50k to spend and no more, i'd go for a second hand B7.

At the moment its this. Just love them for some reason. Big, brutish and beautiful! And this is at €36k at the moment. But if money was no object it would have to be the alpina version.

My brother-in-law to be has a '05 111r (Toyota VVTLi engine - 190bhp) and the car is aroung 800 kg so to say its fun to drive is an understatement. Its very unpractical even though its his daily.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,047 ✭✭✭freestyla

Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R V-spec 2 Nur to be precise if had 70k but under 50k Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R V-spec would be just fine.

Newer large engined cars are still cheaper in UK, 07-08 E65s with 30k-79k miles going for £16-£18k on Autotrader. VRT is only €7700.

EDIT: 730ds, just like your one.

Would love an e55amg the earlier 02/03 are going dead cheap and you get practicality and 470 odd bhp.
