Can I buy a ticket for my bag on Ryanair?

    I hope this is the right forum.

    Could I buy a flight ticket for my bag/luggage since the fee for checked luggage is three times the price of another ticket. Anyone attempted this?

    No you can't; it is specifically mentioned in the Ryanair terms that every ticket has to have a physical person and can not be used for luggage.

    No that's wrong, my mate had an expensive guitar and was told he would have to pay for a seat if he didn't want it going in as luggage.

    So if I say I have something I'm not willing to check in because of its value and buy a seat. I doubt it will work but it seems ridiculous it won't too.
