best place to buy battery?

    Hi! We drive an 07 SMax and need a new battery. We are based in north Dublin. Any suggestions where is the best place to buy a battery?

    Halfords or Fast Fit. Will cost you around 80euro.

    Try Capital Brake and Clutch, Ballycoolin branch, 01-8975210. They have / can get the Yuasa batteries which are OE on Ford. in fact around 90% or cars they are OE on. Cost a bit more but last much longer.

    Wherever they sell car batts will take the old one back free.

    Halfords ar gone a bit dear for batteries.
    THeir basic one for my car xas 110 or 90 with trade card.
    Bosch ones more expensive still.

    Got basic one with 2 year warranty for 70 at my local motor factors.

    Are their any brands that stand out as better, got some one to replace battery about 20 months ago and it refusing 2/3 occasions lately (this morning was cold last time wasnt).

    Given that the original battery only lasted 3 years I wouldn't go paying more for an oe one.

    If you're looking for longevity then a Bosch Silver is worth a look. View have a 5 year warranty.

    Depends on how long you expect to keep the car for..
