Belgium just shocked England 9-6, they play Sweden in the semi's. Holland play Norway in the other.

Unusual semi final line up and very surprising to see none of the British nations in the semis considering their players dominate the BDO rankings.

Defeats Steve McDonell and Paddy Meaney in the last 64, for Sean McGowan in the last 32 and Martin McCloskey in the last 8 ends our male interest in the singles. None of the northern boys past the 2nd round unfortunately.

Willie Van DerWiel will contest the mens final against Martin Philips of Wales after he beat fellow welshman Wayne Warren in the semi's.

Caroline Breen lost 1st round in the ladies to Franes Honselaar while Angela deWard was beaten in the 2nd round by Wales Julie Gore.

NI Denise Cassidy is playing her last 16 match while Nicola Dillon will play Trina Gulliver int he last 8.
