The boys in BMW seem to have lost the plot a little with their need for 'crossover', market driven I suppose seeing as VAG are at it too.

Looks wise I won't be replacing my desktop wallpaper E46 M3 anytime soon, still the best looking BMW in the last decade in my humble (an probably sentimentally biased) opinion.

They are getting there with the 7 series and latest incarnation of the 5er, both very attractive cars in the flesh.

I don't think sales of 112,500 X6's can be called losing the plot.

X1/X3 & X6 though...would ya be bothered with any of them?

I saw a brown bmw X1 yesterday and it has to be the worst looking car ive seen apart from models from Ssangyong. Its was just terrible.

I suppose if it came with steel wheels, no grille, black bumpers, bonnet, doors, wind up windows, an 8 track stereo with single dashtop speaker, one key, no metallic paint but a HUGE BMW BADGE it will sell just great in Ireland

Thats it.. If numptys keep buying them then they will keep churning them out.. Not a fan of any of the x range to be honest.. And i do like my BM's..
