    Hi All,
Quick question. Clutch and Flywheel were exchanged on the Mondeo, but unfortunately, the radio was wiped. Its now asking for the code. Would I have to contact Ford to get it done, and if so how much would it cost, or is there any other way of getting it?

    Thanks

There is a big long thread somewhere for Ford Radio codes.

You need the radio serial number - begins with an M, and there is a calculator to work out the code.

Alternatively, it might be on a sticker in the car or in the manual in the glove box.

Thanks for that. Im on my mobile, so searching isint the most straight forward. Will pop on later and do a search.

    Thanks

Thought you were just being lazy :p

If you don't have the code on a sticker, you'll need to remove the radio to get the M code off the side of it.

It kinda is laziness too! Search is a pain on the mobile. It can be done though.. :D

Ill pop out the radio later and have a look on the radio. How do I input the code into it? do I just keep pushing 1 until it adds up to the relevant number?

    Thanks

The code on the side needs to go in to the calculator - post it back here and someone will come up with the unlock code.

If you can find the unlock code somewhere in the car, then:

Press 1 until the first digit shows correctly
Press 2 until the second digit shows correctly
    etc.

Then I think it's 5 when the code is showing correctly on the display to enter. Might be 6 though - one or the other.

mondeos usually have a sticker on the bottom underside of the ashtray
press button one until the correct number shows
    button two etc.
when the correct code is showing press the volume up button
sometimes its the tune up button
