ASG who used to bring in EXCEL bb's have dropped them. Why I don't know as they are the very best, number one BB on the market followed closely by G&G imo. MIA have some Excels left but not many! Hobby have a range by King Arms and rumour has it ;) that they are from the same factory as the G&G ones! They look very high quality!

i used excel .23's and then switched to g&g .25's, i found better accuracy for a very nominal drop in range

I use g&g .25g bios and Aimtop .25g.Iv never had a single problem with any of the two.

Just a quick question, does anyone have an experience with Madbull P-life .25g bios?

AirsoftEire generally deliver in 24 hours anywhere in the country. I have placed orders in the afternoon and had it the next morning. What waiting.

If you ordered them today you could have had them tomorrow. It's not MIA who take an age to process an order in my experiences with them.

It's my understanding that the King Arms and G&G bb's are one in the same.

I rate G&G's very highly. I rate Excels a equally as high if not better. (I love their .23g's). Never had a problem with either.

I havent tried King Arms bb's yet but I bought a bag of em last week and will try them over the next short while.

I found MIA were the best source for em, but they are hard to get at the best of times. :(

The last batch I got were from a friend (K99_64) who got them in AirsoftEire.

I know the guys are "up the road a bit" but I think it's generally accepted that they have the best postage service/speed of turnaround of anyone in the country.

I have never been in the walk-in shop (despite passing Dundalk several times a week) but must take a trip up next week to stock up just in case.

sg airsoft stock .23g aimtop bbs never had any probs with them.

ive used G&G .20's in the l96 and G36 and not a problem cleared through a full bag and only 2 jams ,

the King Arms .25's havent been been as reliable mulitible jams in the first few hundered rounds in the g36 and 10 jams from a 40 rnd l96 mag ,

ive been looking at the bbs ,now the g&g's and KA look almost identicle both well polished and cant find any major flaws in the Ka's that would cause jams both my aeg and bolt action have standard barrels ,
if there made by the same factory or using the same moulds there must be either a bad batch that a few of us have picked up or there not the same bbs

considering i mostly buy my bbs in bulk ,8-10bags at a time to last a few months, im glad didnt invest a bulk buy of King arms bbs other wise id be dumping them ,id be intrested to hear if anybody else has found any issues with them

    anybody using ICS bbs

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,440 ✭✭✭✭thermo

ive used excels, TNT and G&G bb's in the same guns and no problems, but the day i tried the KA,,,,, i was just glad i had my trusty bit of curtain wire!!

    Guys,

As a distributor for King Arms in Ireland, we are concerned to hear that some of you have run into problems with the King Arms bb's.

As we have had a number of people and sites using these without issue, it came as a surprise to read this thread.

However, as we do want feedback from everyday skirmishers, such as Gatling, Thermo, Lefty etc...etc.... for today only, we are giving away 20 bags of the King Arms .25g bb's (on a first come, first served basis) for people to go away, test and give their feedback.

Apologies to the mods if they feel this is in the wrong place.

Thanks again for those Marcus, will give them a run in tomorrow.
I'm gonna be crafty with a micrometer later though!

Emptied a mag through an AUG firing ~20rps with no bothers, only a stock barrel though.
Gonna compare them size wise to the ICS ones, been using them for months, never had a problem.
Tested 10 of each, KA .25s and ICS .25s, both were identical in diameter . Maybe, it was just a bad batch afterall.

i use ics .20s and .25s in all my aeg's and have never had a problem with any of them,no jams, and used them in aeg's that i have 6.02 barrels in,couldnt recommend them enough

also used .20 king arms in my tavor and thought they were just as good as g&g,not one jam

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,463 ✭✭✭Leftyflip

Used the KA BBs in 5 of my 10 mags (ICS in the others) today, perfect. Not a single jam or anything. The AEG had a Systema tightbore in it - Emptied every mag without a bother. I'd say the bag experiences were just from a bad batch of BBs.
    But this bag seems fantastic!

when i bought bbs at redbarn they called the kings arms bbs , G&G bbs and it was not a mistake

I have been using the king arms 0.25's in my tm p90 with a systema tightbore and my aug hbar with a 590mm tighbore and find them brilliant, compared them to the g&g's and got the exact same range, chrono readings came in the same

as far as testing against ics 0.25's the king arms gave an extra 5 metres over the ics and much more consistent groups

and they're proving popular aswell, i sold 2 boxes of them at oakridge on sunday :D

Me too, but I can't seem to find a Dublin based retailer that still has some :(

Johhny, Airsofteire are renowned for next day delivery.....probably worth ordering them from their site.

You'd have had them by now :)

My gang, 5 of us, went through 2 and a half bags of the King Arms on Sunday without a single jamming issue. This was on a variety of guns, various stages of upgrade as well. I would use them again.

We go through 100s of bags of king arms bbs a week in rental packages and sell many bags, we've never had an issue with them and have never had anyone return a bag or complain about them.

I also heard that they come off the same operating line as g&g bbs but I can't say that with any certainty really
