Hi everyone, I was wondering can anyone help me with some makeup that wont irritate my skin? Im in early pregnancy and am having major breakouts. Apparently Almay make up is recommended by dermatologists but as my luck would have it was discontinued some time ago. I have no credit card so internet shopping is not an option. Any other oil free make up I could try?

What's your budget? And what type of coverage are you looking for?

I have Combination skin and Acne, so I use the Clinique Anti-Blemish Solution range.

The foundation is lovely and gives good coverage, but over the past few days I am beginning to think it has too much coverage for day-time. It could be the colour I am using though, I use shade 02 (Ivory).

Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions Foundation - It's specifically for spots/blemishes etc.

I have also used the Clinique Superfit make-up and find it just as good as the Anti-Blemish foundation, but it doesn't have as much coverage and it looks more natural.

    Clinique Superfit foundation

Also, I know you didn't ask about skincare, but I'll add it in anyway.:o

If you can, you should try the Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions range - it will really help with your breakouts.

    The products I use are:

    Anti-Blemish Solutions Clarifying Lotion
    Anti-Blemish Solutions Cleansing Foam
    Anti-Blemish Solutions Clearing Moisturizer
    Anti-Blemish Solutions Clear Blemish Gel

Also the Anti-Blemish Solutions Clearing Concealer in 'Corrective Green' is really good for toning down the redness in spots.

The products are expensive, but you only need a little bit so they should last ages (and that's wit daily use!).

Thanks Purple Bobbin. I suppose I would spend any amount of money on a foundation if it was that good! Im quite pale so I guess I am just going for the natural coverage and non pore blocking as Im breaking out more every day. Il visit the Clinique stall and see what ingredients are in their products.
Do Origins do make up? Ill check that out too. Thanks again :)

No problem, I found the Clinque counter at Brown Thomas the best to give advice/do a colour match tbh.

Also, the Clinique products are the same prices in Brown Thomas as other stores.

Both the Clinique foundations I posted are oil-free fwiw.

As for Origins, I have no idea, sorry. Maybe someone else can help with this.

Mineral make up is good for breakouts but it doesn't give much coverage. It soaks up oil.
