    Hi,
We're a 5 pce Loais based band and we need to get a demo recorded over the next month or so, we only need maybe 3/4 songs recorded, we can either travel to a studio or we also have our own rehearsal space where all of our gear is set up so it could be done there maybe over a weekend, we need someone who can record and mix a full band including drums, doesnt have 2 be top quality, just decent enough for a website, we're on a fairly tight budget with this so anyone interested please reply to this ad with a price,
    Cheers!

    hey dude.
even if its not a really 'serious' project...my advice do your research adn tread carefully before parting with hard earned cash etc.

Tonnes of related threads on this ...here one for starters that gives an insight into what i'm harping on about. I know the thread specifically refers to 'producers' but the same applies to engineers and what you can expect from them.

might be an idea to set up a thread over on the music production forum too. It'll give you an idea of what you want and what you can afford and so on

good luck, making music is unbelievably rewarding. But it can break your fukcing heart if you get involved with the wrong people trust me
