I seem to be taking them everyday - for no reason. Plus they sometimes makes me feel ill. Does anyone else do this or is it just me??

Taking any medicines for no reason is not healthy, and having other people tell you they do it too wont be of help to you.

Im recommend you talk to your doctor or at least someone close to you about this to try and get to the bottom of why you do it, and I am going to close this thread, as I cannot see how it can benefit you. You already must know what you are doing is not a good thing.
