Sadly there is no public list of NAMA developers or property. NAMA says it provides the same level of confidentiality to developers as would a bank. What we do have is newspaper reporting speculating about NAMA-bound developers - the reporting is informed in my view but NAMA has never confirmed or denied the reporting, as far as I know. The spreadsheet contains property developers and owners that are NAMA-bound and also, and this is very important to note, property owners that are not NAMA-bound. Before accessing the spreadsheet I stringly advise you to read the notes. "Associations" can be any association and you will establish the association by reading the link in the comments box (normally a newspaper article).

If you don't read the notes then you might well end up feeling a little bit disappointed at what you find in the spreadsheet.

a few jump out. Ivor Callely,Charlie McCreevy, Michael Martin,Bono, Gay Byrne, Mohammed Al-Fayed. Does this mean everybody should support Fulham Football Club now and shop in Harrods? :)

So one of the silly ideas running around Ireland lately is that politicians are bailing out their associates at the expense of the rest of us.

Eh I thought all loans above a certain amount were to be transferred to NAMA, whether they were good or not?

Fairly predictable, no less unpalatable. No wonder NAMA operates behind a strictly "closed door".

Anyone see Primetime and the mention of Roman Abramovich buying debt off Irish nationwide just last year? Subordinated bondholders need to face up to the fact they made bad investments with Anglo and Irish nationwide, they should be cut loose with maximum losses for their gamble for a 13% interest repayment

This idea seems to be getting more and more mainstream attention, it could actually happen yet. Romans not gonna be happy though.

Joey he told Matt Cooper on the last word that his loans even though they are performing would be going into NAMA.

Cool thanks... Is it possible to see if there is a James Boucher or Conor Whelan on that list. I cannot do a search.

you have to wonder why "performing" loans are being transferred? I can understand non-performing loans going but surely if someone is paying their way then this should be acceptable?

NAMA has to get some performing loans in other to have any hope of breaking even let alone making a profit.

Its part of the banks payment to the state I imagine that these loans will perform to their end as expected which some may not ...

Clever way for the banks to get rid of loans which they believe may go bad in the near future.

Of course people that have performing loans don't want to go into NAMA as it is bad PR as it is seen as a place where people with bad loans go.

So if we use the following example:
If I owe 650,000 on my mortgage and I've been paying each month that the bank could take my house from under me because my working profession happens to be considered risky in the future?

No, it's no different than getting a mortgage from KBC and they then sell it on to someone else. You still owe your payments etc

    KBC=Anglo
    New Lender = NAMA

When Harry Crosbie was on the show with matt cooper,He told him that he did not invest in risky property investments,And that he had people coming to him all the time trying to get him to invest in new building developments that he would not touch with a barge pole.
I have to say he came across very well in the interview I'm sure it would be on a podcast on the lastword web page.

what does it imply halfway down the list when it says "not flagged for nama"?

yes, if you are using Internet Explorer, you might have to scroll down the page a bit before the list of developer's names appear; they are listed beside which major developer who they invested under.... is this what you meant?

    * Id imagine 'not flagged for NAMA' could mean that the bad loans will not be covered by NAMA (possibly because they dont owe enough)
