Just listening to Brian Cowan on the Radio addressing the Dáil and inviting the opposition to talks without any preconditions or obligations to adopt Government policies. I fear there is some major dose of bad bad news on the horizon if the Government are now so willing to drag in the opposition. They didn't want any input from them last week. Would it not be better for them to just resign now and have a General Election in November? It would make little difference to the Country if the Dáil didn't sit for the next four weeks as trhey have been off for most of the past four months anyway and the country has plodded on. Can an election make it any worse now?
