Sharp Practice in the mobile premium SMS services

    Hi Folks.

    I posted over on consumer issues about a relatively minor, but an annoying issue nonetheless with a premium mobile subscription service provider called Zamano.

    I thought I would post here too in order to

    1) warn other people about this "business model" , how it is important to text stop to the number the content is coming from , even if it appears that you are not being charged for it ( however from what an O2 agent told me sometimes when you reply "Stop" to a number you may actually be subscribing to the service )

    2) I want to get an indication of the extent of this issue. how many people have similar experiences with these services ?
