    1. Who is running the event: Na Fianna GAA Club, Glasnevin
    2. The purpose of the event: Fundraiser
    3. Date and Location of event: Na Fianna GAA Club, Mobhi Rd, Glasnevin Friday 22nd October 2010.
    4. Start time of event: 7.30 – 500 Bonus chips for arrival up to this time.
    5. Tickets to be sold in advance: text TEXAS, your name and mobile to Paddy @ 0862581239
    6. Is there a maximum number: 120
    7. Type of Tournament: No-limit texas holdem – multiple re-buys. FREEZE OUT after 10.30
    8. Cost of entry and any subsequent rebuys/top-ups etc: €30 for 4000 chips; re-buys €10 for 4000 chips; top-ups the same
    9. Prize fund was €1450 last time with 70 entrants - expect similar this time. This is a club fundraiser.
    10. Is any money from the prize fund held back for future tournaments, if so, how much: NO
    11. Any guaranteed prize pool: NO (ESTIMATED €1300-€1500)
    12. Blind levels etc on www.clgnafianna.ie
    13. Starting Chips :4000
    14. Are there going to be dealers : Self-Dealt
    15. Is there a tournament director: Yes.
    16. How are disputes handled - who has final say.TD

    Last time out, assuming average spend was 40 Euro (1 buy-in plus 1 re-buy/topup, very very conservative guess).

    You got in 2800 (probably alot more), and paid out 1450, ie, less than 50% of what you got in. Very, very bad return for players.

    Also, rebuys are allowed until 10:30, at which point 4000 chips would be 1.3BBs. Oh dear.

    Suggestions:
    Have rebuys for the first 3 or 4 blind levels only.
    Put buyin's into the prize pool, and rebuys/topups go to the fund.

    Hi Jaden - sorry for the delay in responding to this.

    We made around 1400 for the club, 300 in costs and 1450 in prize fund last time if memory serves me. Most players are club members and recognise it is a fun night with main aim of raising funds for club.

    You are correct on blinds - they were problematic last time and I think we ended up offering a large top-up at around the 10pm mark.

    Will get the blind structure right this time round.
