    i searched the forum for sorround and tv and it boggle my mind the post that came up and even more confused. how do i connect my sourrund dirrecty to my telly?? is it possible. all i can find is input ports :( its a real gud tv. only bought it it 6 hours ago. tis full of ports. i'm just lost. i searched the forum and she that comes up confuses me even more :(

    what i mean is i ave everything plugged into tv and i want sound only come from tv from all accessories do i jst ave get that stero jact and split it phone phono cables. dat cant be right ::

    well idk what kind of system you have but on mine tv i had to put both input and output cables connecting the tv to my dvd player and when i wanted to listen in SS i turn on the dvd player and switch it to tv input :)

    thats the thing man. i ave like 15 million input cables and the only thing i see as an output is that little stereo jack. i bought this thing for 700 quid and thinking i could hear rte 2 all around me. i can plug it in ok and hear all my dvds all roound good. but i wanna plug everything in and here the stations on me telly and dvds and plyaystation and media plyer. how do i get from plugging everything into my telly to ouputing to my now redundant surround sound :(:( i just cant see anyway to output the sound

    hmmmm, what dis the SS come with? or did you purchase it on its own?

    its a sony. its has two av inputs and two of those clip in wire inputs and dat digital input and then all the oupouts. easy plug it inot dvd player :( jst wanna plug it into telly and be done with it. i'm depressed :( even walked over my bro's house and see audio out on hi telly either. i'm a dum dum:p

    Have you Sky or NTL? if so, you want to output that into your SS box not your TV.

    If you don't, you want to (on the TV) find the headphones socket, or SCART 1 which is usually fully wired (ie in + out) and get an out adapter to connect the red+white output into one of the spare inputs on your SSS.
