The final countdown to the start of the ORCA Tamiya Mini Cup is underway as this Sunday (24th Oct) the first of the seven rounds that make up this indoor winter championship takes place in the Summerhill Community Centre in Summerhill, Co. Meath. With many new drivers having acquired one of these durable 1:10 front wheel drive cars, the new 2010/11 season has all the makings of being well attended and a lot of fun. The hall will open at 09:15 to allow for the building of the track with the 45-minute free practice scheduled to start at 10:00. The first of the 6 rounds of qualifying will kick off at 11:00. The race fee for the day is €10.

For those who have not been to the community centre before you should bring your own pit table & chair, and if you have an extension lead it is recommended you bring it along. The club looks forward to seeing you all Sunday morning for a great day of cheap and fun r/c racing!!
