    hey,i'm soon to be single and wondering does anyone have experience with property buyout when a reltionship ends,what happens???....thanks for any advice

    You get legal advice as to what the circumstances are and you get the house vauled and you get advice from the mortguage provider and you find out if you can buy them out to start with.

    Is there negative equity? Before jumping into getting solicitors involved, its better to hammer out an agreement. There is some good advice on askaboutmoney.com about this.

    speaking from experience of friends, if its not amicable this can often be an unmitigated disaster. Try to keep amicable above all else.
