    Hi guys
There's a 5k run on in Mullingar, Co Westmeath this weekend..Sunday, Oct 17th... thought some of ye would like to know about it ahead of Dublin the following week.. it's a small warm up distance!
It kicks off from Butler's Bridge, Ladestown.. this is located on the N52 road between Mullingar town and Bloomfield House Hotel... there's a right hand turn signposted Ladestown which you turn down to get to the start of the race!
If driving from Mullingar and you hit Bloomfield, you've gone too far!! If driving in from the Tullamore/Kilbeggan road, you will come to Bloomfield first and the turn will then be on your left!
Registration is at 1pm and the race kicks off at 2!
If anyone is interested we'd love your support on the day!
    Thanks
    Mary :D

Well done Mary on the 5k. it was well marshelled and we were quite lucky with the weather.
The course was aprox 150 metres long but not to worry, but you could knock 20-30 secs OFF any of the finish times if you wanted your 'REAL' 5k time on the day.
Mullingar harriers old 5k race series route was on that same course but started out at the road beside the bridge, it finished in the same place. i never ran the old 5k but members of the club confirmed this to me.

Look foward to seeing the times and pics on your facebook page.
