Nothing controversial about it.. it's telling it exactly like it is!

It was done by Banksy, and has Banksy written all over it (literally.. and figuratively).

Having said that, I am slightly suprised Fox and Rupert Murdoch let it air.

Telling the truth can cause controversy too...

It's amazing how meaningful a cartoon can be - love it

TBH, I never or rarely read articles where the OP doesn't at least give me a synopsis. Very lazy OP.

Pathetic attempt by an irrelevant show to hang onto its last remaining shreds of credibility.

    Nice retort there Richard.

The Simpsons is still on? Please kill it already. It's like seeing a beloved family pet slowly dying of neglect and abuse :(

What was the point of this, to criticise Fox or themselves?

Last I heard South Korea was a developed country, fair play to them if they've found a "sweatshop" there.

Don't like the whole sweatshop couch gag, very poor attempt at a south park/family guy joke. Everyone playing football in Brazil was a good example of irony this one was swing and a miss.

simpsons is apparently all above board with its manufacturing methods i think it was more to highlight the fact that these things go on not to highlight that the simpsons are availing of these sweatshops

To get people talking about them and how "daring" they are.

Of course they're above board with their animation, ffs it has looked as CGed as Family Guy for years, I doubt there's more than a few hundred hand-drawings made per episode. I'm still not sure what they were highlighting, seems to be it's just Banksy being his usual "anti-corporate" self and The Simpsons writers have forgotten completely now not just what comedy is but also what common sense it.

Can't believe it worked tbh. Saw it this morning and just thought "Meh, really don't get the point of that."

Well I for one will continue to not watch a show produced in a South Korean sweatshop. Unicorn abuse is also a big no no for me.
