    Hello all,

Im hoping to get some advice regarding my girlfriends claim for JSA, she went in the Limerick office on 28th of July and was given an appointment of 10th August, since then she has been waiting for a decision, she was lucky enough to get some short term work from the end of August and when she rang the SW office in mid September she was told there was no update of the claim but they would update her file to show she had returned to work... Last week she got a letter telling her to attend the office on 19th, no mention why, just to bring ID and the letter, since then she has been trying to ring them and today she finally got through, when she told them she wouldn't be able to go due to work they told her if she didn't attend the would close the claim, they also told her they would tell her on this date what else is needed so it sounds like they may want to see her again... Does this not seem crazy, she gave in all the information we requested on 10th August, got a job and now is due to lose out due to their delay, she cant take time off work as there is a good chance of a contact extension and they are busy at the moment...
