Good coffee machine with milk frother?

    Hiya,

My best friend's birthday is coming up and I'd love to get her a coffee machine. I don't drink coffee so have no idea where to start.
She drinks cappuchino mostly. Is it different beans (than regular coffee) and a milk frother you use for this? Or is it a whole different type of machine?
Can anyone point me in the right direction for a machine that will make cappuchinos?

    Thanks :)

    Gaggia Classic

She will also need a grinder. Is she a good friend?

She's the bestest friend.... But I don't like where this is going!

Is it gonna cost me millions?

Start with the amount of money you want to spend? Good coffee machines are €300+ and good grinders can be the same.

There is a lot of work to making good coffee, getting the right beans and grinding them, cleaning up etc etc and there is a bit of skill involved really.

Maybe you should just get her one of those coffee plunger things?

A nespresso machine could be a cheaper option - its not as good as a proper machine but its really convenient and hassle free and the aerocino (milk frother) works well.
