Tonight's WWE RAW will take place from the Key Arena in Seattle, Washington. No matches have been announced but John Cena vs. Randy Orton vs. Sheamus is being advertised. Expected for tonight's show is more on the RAW Bragging Rights team and the RAW return of CM Punk.

Will Punk form another SES group this time on Raw  Darren Young could be his first member he needs his head shaved :p

I'd kind of like Punk to be booked into a dark loner type character now that the SES, his grand creation, has fallen apart.

I wonder if The Nexus will run in and help Cena get the win?
As for CM Punk coming to RAW, I thought Edge was traded for the Dudebusters?? (Sorry I missed Smackdown)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 34,720 ✭✭✭✭Penn

Edge for CM Punk. I think the Dudebusters just switched brands by themselves since Big Show wouldn't allow them on the SD team. Dunno if that means they get on the Raw team though

    Dudebusters on a PPV? :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

    NOT GOING TO HAPPEN EVER!

It'd make no sense them switching to Raw otherwise. Although obviously, that means you're probably right

You sure that's for tonight? Just seen an ad for RAW from the UK on November 8th and it was advertising this as the main event???

Cole is getting crazy over with the GM angle. Loudest reaction I can recall. Too bad no one reacted to Truth's lame entrance.

LOL at Cole. 'Is it over?' :D

God I hate the Miz so much, but in the traditional heel sense not in an Xpac way.

Loving Barrett, hope he stays in control of Nexus for a good while, and that WWE don't go for too quick a payoff.

Whereas Michael Cole, I just wish would píss off. He is the GM in my eyes even though technically he's not.

    That headbutt was unreal.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,787 ✭✭✭Jayob10

    Truths entrance is shocking.

Also now Cena is a member of Nexus, why the f*ck does he still have his own theme tune playing??

    some consistency please

he is excellent isn't he? really looking like a major star in the making

Giving one of your biggest rising stars mic-time every week yet constantly burying him makes how much sense?

His old entrance was pretty over, no idea why they thought they had to change it. Has happened numerous times though.

"Getting krunked" is probably the only phrase I've ever heard that annoys me as much as Vicki Guerrero's "Excuse me!" and Michael Cole's e-mail catch-phrase. I could't enjoy K-Kwik's ring-work after listening to that stupid entrance theme.

Morrison and Tyson Kid put on a good little show though, so I'm back in a better mood now :)

Yep he really is a star in the making and could be huge in a few years. I really hope WWE don't push him too far too fast and ruin him. The payoff he'll give if he's pushed correctly could be monumental (once they give him a decent finisher)

I'm about 15 mins behind at the mo. How awkward did Eve look during that R-Truth entrance, it was cringeworthy.

I love Goldust and still think he is a great worker who's style is so unique. His fighting style is so unique that you'd recognise it a mile off even if he was disguised, I hope he sticks around and keeps getting airtime.

    santino to save raw haha

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,984 ✭✭✭Degag

Santino! Seriously, hearing the reaction he got tonight and lately, he's one of the most over wrestlers on the roster.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,640 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Mr Finisher to win and Slater and Otunga to be the RKO fodder.

I hate the pop the ref gets for sending someone away from ringside.

Surely if they get involved at all thats a warning then a DQ.

Bets on the two new boys interfering now that Otunga and Slater have been sent to the back?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,600 ✭✭✭✭CMpunked

As matches go, this one is one of the best ive seen on raw in a match i didnt expect much from

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,787 ✭✭✭Jayob10

oh crap, orton tantrum on the way

    gabriel botch.jumped waaaaay too far

twice he has botched that in a couple of weeks now

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,196 ✭✭✭Ridley

Angry, angry, Orton snapped at botch before I could type it.

(Stops smiley Stone Cold Steve Orton though ;) )

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,640 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Gabriel might get banned from using that move after another botch. Didn't they ban the shooting star for a while when Juventud botched it years back?

Sheamus out now to destroy Bryan and infuriate the internet.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,600 ✭✭✭✭CMpunked

    Bryan vs Big Red?

    Ooooh! :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,787 ✭✭✭Jayob10

Love to see some interaction between Bryan and Punk next :)

    weird segment

truth is pretty dire i think, not liking him at all

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,196 ✭✭✭Ridley

Well, at least he didn't start unbuttoning his shirt.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,600 ✭✭✭✭CMpunked

looks like the writers are starting to aim some segments towards us (the iwc), like truth saying how they are warry of him in the locker room.

Normally that wouldnt matter, but 90% of dirtsheet reports are whos being received like what backstage.

Raw truly is a testament that WWE doesn't give a crap about tag team wrestling.

Hart Foundation have barely been around, and only really in the spotlight since Bret was around, and already they're broken up.

Usos don't exist as far as I know? But Superfly Jr. gets the most exposure with loving Santino.

Santino/Kozlov as well as Henry/Bourne seem not to exist anymore.

Raw is where tag teams go to die....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,196 ✭✭✭Ridley

Hang on, is that Wade Barrett SVR2011 Bragging Rights animation a CAW with Randy Orton's face?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,640 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

It's been said before but damn, Barrett has got some great mic skills. Him and Cena have great chemistry and if they continue to build this well people will pay good money down the line to see Cena get his revenge.

Jesus that was really good. Could have done without Santino but other than that twas savage. Nexus are unreal

As the E are releasing a book and DVD on goldust in the near future i would imagine this push will continue for a while

Surely Punk or Sheamus would make a better Team Raw captain than Miz

punk has only just arrived on raw so that wouldn't make sense

i have no problem with miz as captain, probably second favourite guy on wwe programming atm after wade barrett

Hopefully they don't blow their load too early and let it simmer for a few months. Could be a Mania match if handled correctly.

Agreed. Even at the end of Raw it really looked like they were pushing this feud hard and heading towards some sort of conclusion, which I really hope they hold off on.

That was a very good Raw. We got some very good wrestling and the Cena-Nexus storyline was advanced nicely. Wade Barrett is an absolute star on the mic.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,880 ✭✭✭Pentecost

Yeah the qualifying matches were all decent and made some sort of sense. Barrett as has been said was class as well. That headbutt at the start was perfectly done too.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,608 ✭✭✭irish_stevo815

All the Team Raw qualifying matches were good and loved seeing Punk come to Raw. But a couple of things bothered me. First off, we are 2 weeks away from Bragging Rights where Barrett takes on Orton for the WWE Title, but yet there is absolutley no build up for that match at all. All the focus is on Barrett wanting Cena in his corner. They could have at least had Orton and Barrett face off a bit to build tension. It's as if the WWE Title don't matter anymore and it's as if Cena is bigger than it (well to WWE creative anyway).

I mean, the WWE champion was only on Raw for like 10 minutes. I'm not the biggest fan of Face-Orton, but come on, he is still the WWE Champion - the top dog on Raw apparently, but yet he seems to have no claim in the build up to his title match.

I can also see the whole Cena-Nexus thing coming to a horrible messy end. It just feels like that it is just being rushed out with no long term thought involved. In fairness, it would have more impact if Cena was made go to the ring wearing the Nexus T-shirt to the Nexus theme playing. I hope i'm wrong, but i can see Nexus being totally finished by Survivor Series.

On a plus note though, I'm liking Wade Barrett more and more every week. His mic work is really coming on and i can see him becoming a very believeable WWE/World champion in the coming months.

Definitely, his entrance this week should have been cut short, Barrett come out holding a Nexus shirt and ordered him to remove all his Cena stuff and wear that from now on instead, the kids would have went mental, the adults would have loved it and it would have made more drama. Sales wouldnt suffer as kids would want the Cena shirt regardless, even more so if it meant "supporting" John.

They should drag this out for months, until the Rumble at least if not even Mania, Barrett could be in the Rumble, orders Cena to help him win, it comes down to three people, Barrett, Cena and lets say...Triple H for giggles, and Cena eliminates both at the same time, sets up the Mania match perfectly.

Myes. There should be a black and yellow Ce[N]a outfit with Never Give Up on the back or something. It can't be that hard to market a seperate shirt. And a We Are One/RoobaadooMy Time Is Now mash up theme (like, say, HBK's nWo theme).

    Though I've grown fond of:
